NEET PG 2026 Result Information
Everything you need to know about the declaration of results, scorecards, and the percentile system.
How Results are Declared
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is responsible for officially declaring the NEET PG results. Candidates who appear for the exam will be able to access their results online via the official NBE website by logging in with their registered credentials.
Understanding Your Scorecard
The scorecard is a crucial document that will be required during the counselling phase. It typically displays:
- Candidate's Name, Roll Number, and Category
- Total Marks obtained (out of 800)
- All India Rank (AIR)
- Category-specific cut-off scores
Qualifying Percentile
Admission to postgraduate medical courses relies heavily on meeting the minimum qualifying percentile set by the authorities. Historically, the cut-offs are:
| Category | Qualifying Percentile |
|---|---|
| General / EWS | 50th Percentile |
| General-PwD | 45th Percentile |
| SC / ST / OBC (Including PwD) | 40th Percentile |
What Happens Next? Once the results and rank lists are published, candidates who meet the cut-off must register for the central and state counselling processes to secure their admission into a medical college.
